Ayutthaya, Thailand

Here we are, coming to the end of our stay at our second city, and entering our second week in Thailand. Ayutthata is about a 1 hour 40 min train ride from Bangkok and is a little cooler and a little less crowded. The guest house we are staying at is really nice with carved Buddha's and statues sitting amongst the trees in the main courtyard.

Yesterday we took a boat tour of the city, which, believe me, is THE way to get around! We stoped off at a couple of temples alond the way. (accessing via the river ment we avoided paying entry! The most impressive by far was the ruins ofWat Chaiwatthanaram (pictured above). Full on Indianna Jones'ing it to the top in 32degree heat may have been a mistake but managed to get some awesome pictures.

Spent a couple of days with a dutch couple on a world tour of their own. They came with us on the boat ride and shared some meals with us before they left for our next destination, sukhothai.

Hope everything is good at home. Stay tuned for the next update.

From the home of the worlds horniest dogs ... goodbye x
