Yosemite was beautiful, the drive was pretty easy at just under 4 hours. We were lucky enough to stay in the Valley itself, having a bbq for dinner and a bonfire to keep the bears away. When we arrived we were also attacked by the local squirrel population, who are not afraid to get into your car and steal things. (we speak from experience). We were advised to keep all food and makeup in the bear boxes as the bears have been known to eat things out of the cars. We also got to drive through the park on the way to Death Valley - a highly recommended drive. The only downside was becuase it was Spetmeber Yosemite Falls was not flowing (maybe next time!) We will definately visit again.
