Welcome to Tasmania. We flew in very early in the morning arriving at 8am so we took 2 nights to just explore Hobart, the capital. To be honest we were less than impressed, apart from the hostel that was pretty cheap and very friendly.
The shopping centres reminded us of dunstable (of all places), and the town itself was very average.
The highlight was the fish and chip lunch that we had down on the dock. Otherwise we hope the rest of Tasmania is a bit more interesting than the capital city! Its funny though as everyone says this city is fantastic - really?
