Meredith dropped us off in Washington DC after our amazing stay with her (we miss her already) for our whirlwind tour of the nations capital. In just over a day and a half we have seen the majority of the sights - The White House, The Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial, FDR Memorial, Korean War Memorial, The Pentagon, The Iwo Jima Memorial, FBI Building, JFK Burial site, Washington Monument, The Smithsonian, World War 2 Memorial, Pool of Reflection and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. There are cars with blacked out windows everywhere and I am speculating that they are all spies! A lot of walking and a lot of monuments (and we also managed to fit in a trip to the cinema and Nandos) so off to Boston tomorrow on an epic bus ride for a bit more of a relaxed time and some skiing!
